Just push the button, and power is sent to the glow plug gently to help increase the life of your glow plug and after the 5-seconds, the plug is fully powered. This gives you time to start spinning up the engine prior to power being applied to the plug. Makes starting the YS160/170DZ much easier without the banging of the motor!
